MTSN GNASH Newsletter for December 10, 2025

No broadcast tonight.

Senior Night ceremonies

Mt. Juliet-Wilson Central-Lebanon will have their Senior Night ceremony tonight.

Scenarios for tonight

The Tennessee Outlaws and Mt. Juliet-Wilson Central-Lebanon will be eliminated from contention for the GNASH Cup regular season championship if the Outlaws LOSE TO Ravenwood; if this happens, JPII-MLK-GCS would then be eliminated if they LOSE TO OR TIE WITH Mt. Juliet.

Whoever LOSES the JPII/Mt. Juliet game will be eliminated from GNASH Cup contention if the Outlaws/Ravenwood game ENDS IN A TIE.

If Ravenwood LOSE TO the Outlaws, only Mt. Juliet could be eliminated if they LOSE TO OR TIE WITH JPII.

Previewing tonight’s games

Both games will be played @ Centennial A.

Tennessee Outlaws (2-6-1) vs. Ravenwood (7-1-1) - 7:10 PM
One of the more surprising results of the 2024-25 regular season was when the Outlaws beat Ravenwood 2-0 on October 17, 2024. Ravenwood only had ten skaters that night, missing the likes of Cooper Hill, Jake Farrell, Liam Powell, Brady Friedman, and Mason Reed. The ten remaining skaters, which included Keaton Moffitt and Grady Fernan, still managed to fire off 33 shots on Dawson Reynolds, who turned them all away. Those two points were the ones that eventually got the Outlaws into the Predators Cup. Fast forward to tonight, and there won’t be any sight of Hill or Powell because they graduated, or Reed because he moved to Anaheim in the summer, or Friedman or Farrell because they’re suspended for tonight’s game for getting into fights at the final buzzer in the Raptors’ loss to Indy last week. I know I keeping harping on Ravenwood’s offense being slow to start games, but with no Friedman or Farrell, the rest will have to pick up the slack, and yet again, they’re going up against a really good goalie in Reynolds. The Outlaws aren’t as deep as they were last year, but they bring back both goal-scorers from last year’s game, Logan Wood and Clive Keeler, can’t forget leading scorer Josh Kuehn, and Mark White has stepped up to become kind of an offensive leader this season. I don’t think Ravenwood will be goalied for a second straight game (and season when it comes to the Outlaws), but a few early goals would prevent a possible chance for Tennessee to steal the game.

Once this game is finished, we will have completed 80 of the scheduled 120 regular season games, meaning we will have played two-thirds of the regular season.

Game prediction: Ravenwood

JPII-MLK-GCS (2-5-2) vs. Mt. Juliet-Wilson Central-Lebanon (3-7-0) - 8:40 PM
The Knights finally picked up win #2 of the season against Brentwood last Friday, and now go up against a Bears team that’s one three out of their last four, including a feather-in-the-cap win against Station Camp a week ago Monday that ended the Bison’s perfect start to the season. Both of these teams have tough closing stretches featuring some of the top teams in the league, and neither one of them are likely Preds Cup-bound (though Mt. Juliet could make the race for the last spot just a bit more interesting), so, this is essentially two big points towards a good Hine Cup seed. The Bears’ offense looks more in-tune, especially with the recent addition of Cade Ellenburg, who’s scored four goals in just three games so far. The Bears have scored 36 goals in ten games, the Knights 25 in nine. I’m leaning towards the Bears here.

Game prediction: Mt. Juliet
