MTSN GNASH Newsletter for December 17, 2025

No broadcast tonight.

Senior Night ceremonies

Brentwood-BA-USN will have their Senior Night ceremony tonight.

Scenarios for tonight

Station Camp-Liberty Creek-Nashville Christian will clinch the first Predators Cup berth if they DEFEAT Brentwood-BA-USN AND the Clarksville Kings DEFEAT Nolensville (this would also eliminate Nolensville from GNASH Cup regular season championship contention).

Independence-Centennial AND JPII-MLK-GCS will be eliminated from contention for the GNASH Cup regular season championship if Station Camp-Liberty Creek-Nashville Christian DEFEAT Brentwood-BA-USN.

Mt. Juliet-Wilson Central-Lebanon will end up with a spot in the Henry Hine Cup if Nolensville DEFEAT OR TIE WITH the Clarksville Kings.

Previewing tonight’s games

Both games will be played @ Centennial A.

Brentwood-BA-USN (0-9-2) vs. Station Camp-Liberty Creek-Nashville Christian (8-2-0) - 7:10 PM
On Monday, for the second time this season, Brentwood carried a one goal lead into the game’s final minute, only for the trailing team to score a goal that forced it to end in a tie. Like the last time that happened, they then had to turn right around to face a top team. In October, it was a tie with Indy, then facing Page and getting dominated. This time, it was tie with the Outlaws, and now, they have to turn around and face the second-place team in the league. This is a must-win for Station Camp (it feels weird saying that, I know), simply because a win will put them within two points of a Predators Cup berth (I think the chances of it happening tonight are quite slim, to be honest). It would be a potentially enormous letdown if they can’t beat the Bruins. They have a much better team with far more depth, and they cannot let a more-than-decent chance to pick up two more points by. I know there’s the Andrew Sallee factor, but just put enough pucks on net, and a few will get past him. Then, just make sure the defense does its job. Station Camp beat Brentwood back on February 26 in the Hine Cup Losers’ Bracket Final, and the Bruins had a better team then. They don’t here, and Station Camp can’t look past them. I don’t think Keith Grooms will let them. Brody Bohman should be back in the lineup tonight after serving his one-game suspension for a checking from behind major against Nolensville last week.

Game prediction: Station Camp

Nolensville (5-4-2) vs. Clarksville Kings (3-7-0) - 8:40 PM
And now, it’s time for another episode of our limited series, Will the Hasse Twins Be in the Lineup Tonight? If they are, that might determine whether or not Isaac Wenck gets another go in the Knights’ crease. If yes, maybe they end up going with Bingston Soundara because of how precious these two points are towards Preds Cup qualification. If not, then they can probably give Wenck a go. It’s imperative that the Knights get a positive result out of this game, because, like it says above, a tie or a win puts Mt. Juliet in the Hine Cup, making that one less team that Nolensville have to worry about. Likewise, these next two games are big for Clarksville: If they lose tonight, then again tomorrow night against Ensworth, they’re a Hine Cup team. I think Nolensville are still pretty sore about losing to Ravenwood on Monday, and I don’t think this will be pretty for the Kings.

Game prediction: Nolensville
