Last night’s broadcasts

Recapping last night’s games

Station Camp-Liberty Creek-Nashville Christian 2 (8-1-0), Father Ryan 0 (5-4-0)
No goals were scored for the first two periods. Nearly 4:30, Tobyn Mehaffy scored the game-winner, when he brought the puck into the Irish zone on a 2-on-1, passed it to McClain Gregory on the right wing, and Gregory passed it back to Mehaffy from the bottom of the right circle to the right-hand side of the Father Ryan net, where Mehaffy was waiting to knock it in past Ryan goalie Jack Karpynec. Gregory then sealed the game with 45 seconds left, when he fired the puck into the back of the net from the Irish slot. Carter Gilleece was terrific in net, posting a 23-save shutout, while Karpynec takes his first loss of the season. A great rebound for the Bison after the loss to Mt. Juliet on Monday. The result of the game means that Brentwood are eliminated from contention for the GNASH Cup regular season championship, while the Rampage are eliminated outright (they were eliminated on Monday, but could still tie Ravenwood and Camp on points and records, but would’ve lost the head-to-head tiebreaker, having already played and lost to both teams this season).

Next game for both teams
Station Camp-Liberty Creek-Nashville Christian: Monday vs. Ensworth-Lipscomb-CPA @ 6:30 PM @ Bellevue-Crisp
Father Ryan: Tomorrow vs. Clarksville Kings @ 6:45 PM @ Bellevue-Crisp

Hendersonville-Beech-Lawson 11 (5-3-1), Tennessee Outlaws 4 (2-6-1)
This one got out-of-hand in the second period, so, I’m not going to do a play-by-play recap. Merrick Mott, Gideon Drobnick, Brian Wilkinson, and Landon Croft each scored twice for the Commandos, with their other goals coming from Britton Smith, Tyler Ellis, and Matthew Almeida, while Mark White scored twice for the Outlaws, with their other goals coming from Josh Kuehn and Ben Kelly. The Outlaws are now pushed to the brink of elimination from the GNASH Cup race. Hendersonville get out of 8th place, and into 6th.

Next game for both teams
Hendersonville-Beech-Lawson: Monday vs. Independence-Centennial @ 8:15 PM @ Bellevue-Crisp
Tennessee Outlaws: Next Wednesday vs. Ravenwood @ 7:10 PM @ Centennial A
