MTSN GNASH Newsletter for January 28, 2025
Recapping last night’s games
Franklin 3 (10-5-0), Centennial-FRA 1 (5-10-0)
Will McCormick, Cole Wright, and David Unger scored for the Admirals, while Avery Aziminia had the Cougars’ lone goal. Franklin finish the regular season with the exact same number of points they had last season (20), but picked up one more win than they did last season.
Next game for both teams
Franklin: Predators Cup first round game - Opponent TBD, Date and time TBA
Centennial-FRA: Henry Hine Cup first round game vs. Brentwood, Date and time TBA
Montgomery Bell 11 (9-3-2), Mt. Juliet-Wilson Central-Green Hill 4 (1-11-2)
Trace Graham scored four times for the Big Red, with Duke D’Alba and Ethan Sides each scoring twice, with their other three goals coming from Ethan Moore, Emmett Casteel, and Henry Berk. The Bears’ goals were scored by Reid Spencer, Carson Slocum, Colton Vivrette, and Parker Triplett. Mt. Juliet actually got out to a 2-0 lead, and took a 3-2 lead after MBA came back, but the Big Red took the lead for good in the second.
Next game for both teams
Montgomery Bell: Thursday vs. Summit-Page @ 8:30 PM @ Antioch-North
Mt. Juliet-Wilson Central-Green Hill: Tomorrow vs. Montgomery County Rangers @ 8:30 PM @ Centennial B (this will be their Senior Night game)
Ravenwood 10 (11-2-1), Independence-BA-USN-Nashville Christian 1 (4-10-1)
Cooper Hill scored two Senior Night Goals™, with Canon Kiser also scoring twice; Zeke Landkammer also had a Senior Night Goal™, with the Raptors’ other five goals coming from Keaton Moffitt, Robert Longard, Grady Fernan, Cooper Friedman, and Mason Reed, who finally scores his first GNASH goal after looking for it all season. Barrett Teasdale had the Eagles’ lone tally. The result of the game means that the Eagles will be the 6 seed for the Henry Hine Cup, while Centennial will be the 4, and Brentwood will be the 5.
Next game for both teams
Ravenwood: Tomorrow vs. Station Camp-Liberty Creek @ 8:30 PM @ Centennial A
Independence-BA-USN-Nashville Christian: Henry Hine Cup first round game vs. either Rutherford Rampage or Father Ryan, Date and time TBA
Summit-Page 9 (9-3-1), JPII-MLK 4 (10-5-0)
Aiden Meyer and Madden Chandler each had hat tricks for the Spartans, with the other three goals coming from Brayden Owen, Hunter Haley, and Liam Garner. Clayton Roach had a hat trick for the Knights, while Coleman Glidewell scored a Senior Night Goal™ for their other tally. If Summit can beat Father Ryan tomorrow, they will guarantee themselves a Top 3 Predators Cup seed.
Next game for both teams
Summit-Page: Tomorrow vs. Father Ryan @ 7:10 PM @ Centennial A
JPII-MLK: Predators Cup first round game - Opponent TBD, Date and time TBA
Hendersonville-Beech-Lawson 3 (9-4-2), Rutherford Rampage 3 (5-9-1)
Carter Morrison had two Senior Night Goals™ for the Commandos, with their other tally coming from Landon Croft. Harry Segars IV, Josh Wolfe, and Tucker Wilhelm scored for the Rampage. Hendersonville miss an ENORMOUS opportunity to ensure themselves a Top 4 seed for the Predators Cup. They actually went down 3-1 in the third, and had to fight back. They are now looking at a potential first round matchup with Ravenwood, or a Summit team that will be looking for revenge for their October 16 loss, or maybe even another showdown with JPII. Meanwhile, the Rampage now need Father Ryan to just lose to Summit tomorrow, and they will be the 2 seed as they defend their Hine Cup title.
Next game for both teams
Hendersonville-Beech-Lawson: Predators Cup first round game - Opponent TBD, Date and time TBA
Rutherford Rampage: Henry Hine Cup first round game vs. either Mt. Juliet-Wilson Central-Green Hill or Independence-BA-USN-Nashville Christian, Date and time TBA
