Last night’s broadcast
Recapping last night’s games
The game that was broadcast by MTSN
Ravenwood 5 (12-2-1), Station Camp-Liberty Creek 1 (6-7-2)
Mason Reed scored the game’s first goal with just under five minutes left in the first while the Raptors were shorthanded, when he fired the puck into the back of the net past the blocker of Bison goalie Keaton Howard. 77 seconds later, Grady Fernan made it 2-0 Ravenwood, tipping in a shot Brady Friedman took from the blue line while standing right in the front of the net, and that was the score going into the second. Just over three minutes into the second, Reed scored a second when he redirected a Cooper Hill centering pass into the back of the net. Then, with 27 seconds left in the middle frame, Reed finished off his hat trick, when he knocked in a Liam Powell cross-ice centering feed while standing at the left-hand side of the Bison net, and Ravenwood carried a 4-0 lead into the third. Just over 2:30 into the third, Station Camp got on the board, when McClain Gregory shot the puck into the back of the Raptor net from the right edge of the slot, but exactly two minutes later, Liam Powell scored the game’s final goal, when he chased a loose puck to the bottom of the right circle of the Bison zone, and shot it into the roof of the net. The result of the game means that the Outlaws get the eighth and final Predators Cup berth on goal difference (0 to Station Camp’s -1), as well as the 8 seed. Station Camp will take the Hine Cup 1 seed as consolation. Ravenwood also clinched the Predators Cup 2 seed. Shoutout to Reese Mackenzie for locking down the Ravenwood net early in the first, and withstanding a near-constant Bison attack.

Predators Cup seeding scenarios for tonight
Previewing tonight’s game
Montgomery Bell (9-3-2) vs. Summit-Page (10-3-1) - 8:30 PM @ Antioch-North
So, Summit are guaranteed a Top 4 Predators Cup berth, while MBA can either get the 3 or the 4 (or the 7) based on the result of this game. Hunter Wieck will need to be at his best against the league’s second-best offense, while the Spartans will need to use their speed to keep the likes of Matthew Moore, Trace Graham, and Duke D’Alba at bay. Should be a good one to write the final paragraphs of the 2024-25 GNASH regular season story.
Pick: Summit
