Recapping last night’s games

Brentwood-BA-USN 3 (2-9-2), Clarksville Kings 1 (3-11-0)
Beckett Mickle, Reed O’Dell, and Will Hubbard scored for the Bruins, while Aidan Hasse had the Kings’ lone tally. The Bruins are now on a two-game winning streak, and three-game unbeaten streak, while the Kings’ losing streak has now hit nine, and I don’t think the chances of them snapping it next week are very good. The team most upset about this result will be the Rampage, who are pretty much locked into the Hine Cup 8 seed, because in order to have a chance for a higher one, they’ll have to beat Hendersonville next week, and I honestly can’t see that happening.

Tennessee Outlaws 11 (4-7-2), JPII-MLK-GCS 3 (4-6-2)
So, I can safely say that I didn’t think that either team would blow the other out like this! I expected a one-goal win from JPII, but I also wouldn’t have been surprised with a close Outlaws win, or even a tie, but just a flat-out rout by either side? I would’ve traded in my crystal ball for a new one if it gave me that vision! Josh Kuehn scored five goals for the Outlaws, while James Daniel scored twice, and their other goals came from Mark White, Cam Miles, Clive Keeler, and Malakai Hogan. Jagger Dwyer, Hugo Ford, and Carter Bahorik scored for the Knights. The Knights will take a Hine Cup spot on Monday if they fail to beat Franklin.

Standings

No contention trackers, as last night’s games had no effect on either the GNASH Cup regular season championship race, or an immediate impact on postseason tournaments, as JPII can still qualify for the Predators Cup despite last night’s loss. They will return in tomorrow’s newsletter, as one more Hine Cup spot can be confirmed, plus, for the first time this season, Preds Cup berths can be clinched, and seven teams can be eliminated from GNASH Cup contention.
