MTSN GNASH Newsletter for November 12, 2025
No broadcast tonight.
Previewing tonight’s games
Both games will be played @ Centennial A.
Clarksville Kings (3-3-0) vs. Ravenwood (5-0-1) - 7:10 PM
The Kings begin a seven-game gauntlet against some of GNASH’s best teams: they face Ravenwood tonight, Franklin next Wednesday, Father Ryan on November 24, Montgomery Bell on December 8, Nolensville on December 17, Ensworth the very next night in Clarksville, before finally ending it by facing Hendersonville in Clarksville on January 5 (with Page awaiting them on January 14 in their last game of the regular season, but the Kings will play Brentwood two nights before on the 12th). Are there any upsets for them to realistically pull off here? After the way they were dominated by JPII, who are not a top team, last week, I’d say no.
Game prediction: Ravenwood
Nolensville (3-2-1) vs. Mt. Juliet-Wilson Central-Lebanon (1-6-0) - 8:40 PM
Bingston Soundara will almost certainly be back in the crease tonight after being absent last week due to travel hockey (again, why are teams traveling on a non-holiday Monday in November?). The question is, if the Knights get a big enough lead, will they switch him with Isaac Wenck to get the freshman some more playing time? I think Wenck’s first full GNASH game last week wasn’t too bad; allowing seven goals on 36 shots would be shocking from Soundara, but for a freshman playing his first full game, it’s not too bad (I forgot to mention that Wenck is on loan to Nolensville from Station Camp, because he’s a student at Nashville Christian, so he was facing his usual team last week). The Knights hope to snap their two-game losing streak against a Mt. Juliet team that finally posted a win last week. The Bears only got three past the untested Clive Neal against Indy, so, I’m not too confident about their chances against a Top 3 all-time GNASH goalie.
Game prediction: Nolensville
