Tonight’s broadcast

Father Ryan vs. Franklin - 8:25 PM pregame, 8:30 PM faceoff BROADCAST LINK

Recapping last night’s games

Ensworth-Nolensville-Lipscomb 8 (9-0-0), Independence-BA-USN-Nashville Christian 0 (1-6-1)
Logan Campbell had a hat trick, with the Ice Tigers’ other goals coming from Charlie Bohnert, Spencer Kern, Jackson Malleus-Mayer, and Hudson Honeybone. Shoutout to both teams for a penalty-free game. This result eliminated both Indy and the Rampage from contention for the GNASH Cup regular season championship. And, in doing some late-night calculations, if Father Ryan lose to or tie with Franklin tonight, and then Ensworth defeat the Outlaws on Friday, the Ice Tigers will officially clinch a Predators Cup berth, and be able to defend their title.

Next game for both teams
Ensworth-Nolensville-Lipscomb: Friday vs. Tennessee Outlaws @ 5:40 PM @ Bellevue-Crisp
Independence-BA-USN-Nashville Christian: Next Wednesday vs. Rutherford Rampage @ 8:30 PM @ Centennial B

JPII-MLK 4 (6-2-0), Brentwood 1 (3-6-1)
Clayton Roach scored twice for the Knights, with their other goals coming from Kade Ziemendorf and Coleman Glidewell. Zane Cesarone had the Bruins’ lone goal. This loss, combined with the Ensworth-Indy result, eliminates the Bruins from contention for the GNASH Cup regular season championship.

Next game for both teams
JPII-MLK: Next Wednesday vs. Ensworth-Nolensville-Lipscomb @ 7:10 PM @ Centennial A
Brentwood: Monday vs. Tennessee Outlaws @ 7:05 PM @ Centennial A

Summit-Page 13 (6-2-0), Montgomery County Rangers 1 (0-9-0)
Zach Petersen had a hat trick, while Jacob Rodrigue and Madden Chandler each scored twice. The Spartans’ other six goals came from Landen Ellis, Conlee Meeks (first GNASH goal), Hunter Haley, Reeve Gabele, Ayden Mills (first GNASH goal), and Sebastian Noel (first GNASH goal). Brayden Kihara had the lone goal for the Rangers. It is now official: If the Outlaws win either of their next two games (vs. Ensworth on Friday, and Brentwood on Monday), and the Rangers lose to Centennial on Monday (which should happen), the Rangers will officially claim the first spot in the Henry Hine Cup.

Next game for both teams
Summit-Page: December 4 vs. Ravenwood @ 8:45 PM @ Centennial A
Montgomery County Rangers: Monday vs. Centennial-FRA @ 8:30 PM @ Bellevue-Crisp

Standings

Scenario for tonight

Father Ryan will be eliminated from contention for the GNASH Cup regular season championship if they LOSE TO OR TIE WITH Franklin.

Previewing tonight’s game

Father Ryan (2-5-1) vs. Franklin (7-2-0) - 8:30 PM @ Antioch-North
It’s a Thursday night game, so some players will be missing for travel. Unfortunately, only the Irish will be affected by this. If players like Gage Hart and Colin Sullivan are unable to play, it could be a long game for them. Meanwhile, Franklin are only missing players due to injury, meaning they’ll have their big guns like Will McCormick and Ryan Mannion on the ice. I’m hoping for a good one.

Pick: Franklin
