Recapping last night’s games

Will McCormick scored twice for the Admirals, with their other goals coming from David Unger, Cole Wright, Wyatt Gerischer, and Michael Mannion in his return from suspension. The box scores from the 2023-24 season have disappeared (I can’t even pull them up on the Internet Archive’s Wayback Machine), so, I had to go through the newsletters from that season, and apparently, it’s the elder Mannion brother’s first GNASH goal since October 23, 2023, when he scored Franklin’s only goal in a 1-1 tie with Montgomery Bell (one of the early results that ultimately killed the Admirals’ run to the GNASH Cup regular season championship). Jackson Curran had the Kings’ lone tally.

Aiden Gardner and Cash Branyan each scored twice for the Eagles, with Branyan’s second goal coming with 30 seconds left in the game when Indy had the net empty. Reese Davidson and Oscar Ford split the goals for the Knights. Indy’s three-game losing skid is over, but their winless drought is now at five, and unfortunately, their next opponent happens to be the team everyone is looking up at.
