Last night’s broadcast

Recapping last night’s games

The game that was broadcast by MTSN
Ensworth-Nolensville-Lipscomb 3 (10-0-2), JPII-MLK 0 (6-3-0)
Nearly three minutes into the first, Trex Hooper scored the first and (game-winning) goal when he closed in on the right-hand side of the net, and shot the puck in past Knights goalie Jacob Benoit. With just under six minutes to go in the second, Lucas Tarquine made it 2-0, when he roofed a loose puck from the right circle. And with just over three minutes left in the third, Beckett Adams scored his first GNASH goal, when he took a one-timer from the slot that hit Benoit in the hands, then off the inside of the post to his left, and in. The Ice Tigers finally clinch a Predators Cup berth on the third attempt. Now, they focus on trying to win the GNASH Cup regular season championship, and claiming the Preds Cup 1 seed (speaking of the GNASH Cup, Centennial were eliminated from contention for it).

Next game for both teams
Ensworth-Nolensville-Lipscomb: December 2 vs. Brentwood @ 7:40 PM @ Centennial B
JPII-MLK: December 2 vs. Rutherford Rampage @ 8:30 PM @ Bellevue-Crisp

The night’s other games
Independence-BA-USN-Nashville Christian 5 (2-6-1), Rutherford Rampage 2 (4-8-0)
Joey Fried scored twice for the Eagles, with their other three goals coming from Michael McEver, Oskar Dubon, and Landric Mayeski. The Rampage’s goals were scored by Tucker Wilhelm and Lucas Bardo (I don’t know if that’s Bardo’s first GNASH goal or not; Mike Jones would). That’s pretty much the Rampage’s hopes of getting into the Predators Cup dashed; their next game is against JPII, and they have Hendersonville down the line.

Next game for both teams
Independence-BA-USN-Nashville Christian: December 2 vs. Franklin @ 5:30 PM @ Centennial A
Rutherford Rampage: December 2 vs. JPII-MLK @ 8:30 PM @ Bellevue-Crisp

Mt. Juliet-Wilson Central-Green Hill 6 (1-8-2), Brentwood 3 (3-8-1)
Each of the Bears’ goals were scored by a different player; they were, in order: Jackson Blevins, Trenten Gorrell, Parker Triplett, Reid Spencer, Ethan Smith (is that his first GNASH goal?), and Carter Spencer. They actually jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the first. Zane Cesarone scored twice for the Bruins, with their other goal coming from Brody Bohman. That’s pretty much it for Brentwood’s Preds Cup hopes, too. Now, even tying with Ensworth in their next game means they’re a Hine Cup team again. Good for the Bears on their first win of the season.

Next game for both teams
Mt. Juliet-Wilson Central-Green Hill: December 2 vs. Tennessee Outlaws @ 8:35 PM @ Centennial A
Brentwood: December 2 vs. Ensworth-Nolensville-Lipscomb @ 7:40 PM @ Centennial B
