MTSN GNASH Newsletter for November 5, 2025

No broadcast tonight.

Previewing tonight’s games

Both games will be played @ Centennial A.

Clarksville Kings (3-2-0) vs. JPII-MLK-GCS (0-3-1) - 7:10 PM
Aside from Station Camp being perfect through five games, the Kings’ having three wins from their first five games of the regular season has been the most pleasant surprise in the first nearly two months of the campaign. Those three wins have come in their last four games, and they’re on a two-game winning streak. Now, comes the weekly Wednesday question: Will Brock and CJ Hasse (Camden goes by CJ, I just learned recently) be playing for the Kings tonight? Having a full lineup gives them a decent chance of winning this game. Meanwhile, JPII, like Mt. Juliet, have not been bad in their first four games. They were down 3-2 to Page in their season opener before the Spartriots scored three unanswered in the third; this was followed by the tie with the Rampage, then the Rock Castle Cup game loss to Hendersonville, where they outshot the Commandos, but were down from the get-go, then last week’s loss to Ravenwood, where the Knights outshot the Raptors 7-3 in the first period, and the game was goalless until Ravenwood won it in the second period with a three-goal middle frame. They, too, have been knocking on victory’s door, though, not as much as the Bears were before Monday. Is tonight the night for the Knights? Collier Owen is back in goal after giving way for Ethan Hickerson to make his GNASH debut against Ravenwood last week.

Game prediction: JPII

Rutherford Rampage (1-3-1) vs. Ravenwood (4-0-1) - 8:40 PM
I really don’t see an upset happening here. Eleven of the 20 goals that the Rampage have scored so far this season came in the win over Clarksville two weeks ago. Meanwhile, the Raptors have scored five or more goals in every game they’ve played; that trend will probably continue tonight.

Game prediction: Ravenwood
