Recapping last night’s game

Tennessee Outlaws 2 (2-2-0), Ravenwood 0 (3-1-0)
Logan Wood and Clive Keeler scored the Outlaws’ goals. Dawson Reynolds turned aside all 33 Ravenwood shots. I mean, wow. This is a MASSIVE shock. I don’t even know if the Outlaws themselves saw this coming. But now, looking at the box score, Ravenwood only had TEN SKATERS. No Cooper Hill, no Liam Powell, no Brady Friedman, no Owen Appel, no Jake Farrell, no Timo Holan, no Aryan Patniak, and no Mason Reed. But still, none of those guys who played could score on the Outlaws. Now granted, only two of the players that played this game are seniors (Jake Lapinsky and Zeke Landkammer), and six of them were sophomores (including Colin Gower, who played in goal), but two of those sophomores were Canon Kiser and Keaton Moffitt, who are pretty good at putting the puck in the back of the net, and they couldn’t do it last night. Still, the game was played as such, and the Outlaws won it. Good for them. A full-strength Ravenwood team, though, probably would’ve won. So, my prediction that Ravenwood wouldn’t lose or tie a single game this season goes out the window in Week 5. I’m OK with that. Sometimes, strange results need to happen to keep things interesting. But don’t expect Montgomery County to pull off a shocker against the Raptors on Monday.

Next game for both teams
Tennessee Outlaws: Next Wednesday vs. Hendersonville-Beech-Lawson @ 8:40 PM @ Centennial A
Ravenwood: Monday vs. Montgomery County Rangers @ 8:35 PM @ Centennial A
