MTSN GNASH Newsletter for October 23, 2025

Recapping last night’s games

Rutherford Rampage 11 (1-2-1), Clarksville Kings 6 (1-2-0)
This was a crazy follow on the ol’ GameSheet. Myles Thompson scored FOUR GOALS for the Rampage (his first goals of the season, too!), completing his hat trick in the first period, with Cooper Feasel, Harry Segars IV, Graham Sourek, Logan Wolfe, Xavier Beverley, Owen Dembouski, and Brandon Schulenberg also scoring for RuCo; for Beverley, Dembouski, and Schulenberg, that is the first GNASH goal for each of them. Aidan Hasse scored twice for the Kings, with their other goals coming from PJ Burns, Jackson Curran, Colton Beshires, and Ethan Rawlings. The other Hasse brothers, Brock and Camden, didn’t play. Is that going to be a regular thing on Wednesdays for this team? They have seven more games on Wednesdays this season, plus their first home game in Clarksville on Thursday, December 18, against Ensworth. I know that a member of the Kings’ coaching staff gets these newsletters; will Brock and Camden always be absent for Wednesday games this season? You can reply directly to this email. Thank goodness the Kings have exactly five Monday games (the minimum number needed to be eligible for playoffs without a waiver), or else, they wouldn’t be able to take part in the postseason!

Next game for both teams
Rutherford Rampage: Next Wednesday vs. Tennessee Outlaws @ 8:40 PM @ Centennial A
Clarksville Kings: Monday vs. Mt. Juliet-Wilson Central-Lebanon @ 6:30 PM @ Bellevue-Crisp

Tennessee Outlaws 4 (1-2-1), Mt. Juliet-Wilson Central-Lebanon 3 (0-5-0)
Malakai Hogan, Cam Miles, Josh Kuehn, and Noah Kuehn all scored for the Outlaws; for the younger Kuehn, it’s his first GNASH goal. Jordan Antar, Trenten Gorrell, and Reid Spencer scored for the Bears. Great goaltending performance by Dawson Reynolds, as he made 32 saves on 35 shots. The Outlaws only managed 18 shots for the game; they went down 2-0 in the first, but won the game in that same period, rattling off three straight goals, then scoring their fourth in the second. Another frustrating loss for Mt. Juliet. You can write them into the Hine Cup field in ink at this point. The Outlaws had 11 penalties called against them; one more, and head coach Chris Deming would’ve been suspended for next week’s game against the Rampage. Reynolds got called for two minors in this one: roughing and delay of game. Can’t remember the last time I saw a goalie get multiple penalties in a game.
