Tonight’s broadcast
Rutherford Rampage vs. Tennessee Outlaws - 8:35 PM pregame, 8:40 PM faceoff BROADCAST LINK
Previewing tonight’s games
Both games will be played @ Centennial A. The game that MTSN will broadcast is in BOLD.
 Clarksville Kings (2-2-0) vs. Independence-Centennial (2-1-1) - 7:10 PM
The Kings had 15 days to bask in their first win in program history against the Outlaws three weeks ago. They’ve had…one day to bask in their most recent win over Mt. Juliet on Monday. Those are the kind of games the Kings look like they’re going to win this season: high-scoring affairs where goaltending is merely an option. Tonight, they face Indy, and that means facing David Busby. I would say that the Kings have better speed than some of the Indy players, but, they don’t have Busby. Will Brock and Camden Hasse play tonight? I don’t see any games on their travel team’s schedule for this weekend, but that doesn’t mean they haven’t had to travel for practice. I’d email Kings head coach Josh Tobin, but I don’t want to bug him every week asking the same question. Meanwhile, Indy are coming off a come-from-behind tie with Brentwood just five days after pummeling a stunned Page. I think they should win this one.
Game prediction: Independence
Rutherford Rampage vs. Tennessee Outlaws (both 1-2-1) - 8:40 PM
So, both teams picked up their first win of the season in very different manners last Wednesday: the Rampage won an 11-6 goalfest against the Kings, while the Outlaws beat Mt. Juliet 4-3 in a game where the Bears outshot Tennessee 35-18, but Dawson Reynolds stood his ground to preserve the win. The question for tonight is, will Reynolds start, or will Thomas Redden get his second go in the crease for this season? That could be the deciding factor in who wins this game. I think the Outlaws have a better #1 goalie, but I’d say that the depth is about even between these two. This could be another goalfest, depending upon the goalie matchup.
Game prediction: Outlaws
