Recapping last night’s game

Ravenwood 9 (3-0-0), Rutherford Rampage 1 (1-3-0)
Jake Farrell led the Raptors in scoring with a hat trick. Cooper Hill and Keaton Moffitt each scored twice, with the other two goals coming from Canon Kiser and Anthony Maltese. Tucker Wilhelm scored the Rampage’s goal, making him the first player to score against Ravenwood this season. The Raptors have won all three games by a combined score of 28-1. Reese Mackenzie made her second straight start in goal for the Raptors, making 15 saves on 16 shots. She only faced seven from Mt. Juliet on Monday. Rutherford are just a bit deeper than the Bears in terms of scoring, so Mackenzie getting a start against such an opponent shows how much faith head coach James Gately has in her to go in when Colin Gower gets a night off.
