MTSN GNASH Newsletter for October 9, 2024

Previewing tonight’s game

Ensworth-Nolensville-Lipscomb (2-0-0) vs. Montgomery County Rangers (0-4-0) - 8:40 PM @ Centennial A
I’m not going to do a full-on analysis of this game, because we all know how it’s going to end. Instead, let’s talk about the aftermath of the likelihood of this result. After tonight, the Rangers will very likely be 0-5-0 like Indy. Both teams at this point are closer to being eliminated from contention for the GNASH Cup regular season championship (because league leaders Franklin are 5-0-0) than they are claiming Henry Hine Cup berths. This is because only four teams have played five games (it’ll be five once this game finishes), while three have only played two (the Outlaws and Station Camp in addition to Ensworth). Once everyone has more games in the books, berths in both postseason tournaments will begin being sealed, but probably not starting until next month, right before the Thanksgiving break.

Pick: Ensworth
