Ensworth-Nolensville-Lipscomb (1-0-0) vs. Mt. Juliet-Wilson Central-Green Hill (0-1-1) - 7:10 PM @ Centennial A
The Ice Tigers started well on Opening Night, with a terrific 6-0 win over Centennial-FRA. They were great on all sides of the ice: Offense, defense, and in goal. The Bears, however, have had a rough start. A near-win last Thursday turned into a 3-3 tie with Station Camp, and a 2-0 first period lead on Monday against Summit-Page turned into a 7-2 loss. I don’t see this game being any different.

Pick: Ensworth

Rutherford Rampage (1-1-0) vs. Franklin (2-0-0) - 8:30 PM @ Centennial B
The Rampage rebounded well from their Opening Night drubbing from Summit-Page, beating Father Ryan 4-2 on Monday, allowing only 14 shots from the Irish, while taking 31 themselves. The Admirals, meanwhile, are off to a hot 2-0 start, scoring six goals against both the Outlaws and Hendersonville. They are looking to be the first team to get off to a 3-0 start this season. I think there’s a decent chance of that happening.

Pick: Franklin

Hendersonville-Beech-Lawson (1-1-0) vs. Brentwood (1-1-0) - 8:40 PM @ Centennial A
Both teams opened with comfortable wins (Hendersonville over Indy, Brentwood over the Rangers), then got pulled right back down to Earth in their next games (Hendersonville by Franklin, and Brentwood by Ravenwood). Looking at the matchup, I think the Commandos have more depth than the Bruins. This could be a close game, but I think Hendersonville will be the one standing tall at the end.
