Alex Williams scored the game’s only goal - his first in a Hendersonville uniform after transferring from Pope during the offseason - nearly four minutes into the first period after he potted the rebound from a saved Justin Schaefer shot. From there, it transformed into a goaltending battle between the Commandos’ Jackson Brodrick and the Bison’s Carter Gilleece, with the former able to collect the shutout, and give Hendersonville their first win of the season.

Jordan Antar scored the opening goal with 4:20 left in the first period. Rutherford managed to keep them close for a while, but the Rampage hit multiple posts, and Justin Dickinson had two breakaways stifled by Bears goaltender Korbin Vickrey. The game got away from the Rampage in the third, when Anthony Giampaolo managed to beat Rutherford goalie Abby Ricalday twice with two shots that dipped right when they got to the net. Rylan Cripe scored the game’s final goal - his first for Mt. Juliet - with just over two minutes remaining. The loss is very critical for the Rampage, who can’t afford to have games like this one if they wish to stay in Tier 1 for the entire season.
