Recapping last night’s games
Last night’s game between Mt. Juliet-Wilson Central-Green Hill and Ravenwood - scheduled to have been played at 8:15 PM on Antioch-South - was moved to November 8 at the same time and at the same location.
As of 9 AM today, the box scores from last night’s games were not posted on the GNASH website. Therefore, we are only able to provide recaps of the two games that were broadcast by MTSN.
USN-BA-Nashville Christian-FRA-Goodpasture 4 (2-0-1), Centennial 3 (0-2-0)
After a goalless first period, USN jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the second, with two Barrett Teasdale goals sandwiching a Nick Venable tally. Nick Claas got Centennial on the board in the second, and it was 3-1 after two. It would’ve been 4-1, had Centennial goalie David Busby not made a fantastic save on a Jayden Charnpanichkarn wraparound attempt right at the end of the period. Just 26 seconds into the third, Calvin Zacharias brought the Cougars to within a goal, then Brendan Mitchell tied the game on a breakaway just near the midway point of the third. The comeback was for naught, though, as Ryan Barrett scored the game-winning goal with just 37.2 seconds left on a 2-on-1 shorthanded opportunity.

Ensworth-Nolensville-Lipscomb 7 (3-0-0), Independence-Ravenwood 2 4 (0-3-0)
Jackson Malleus-Mayer scored the opening goal, but later in the first, the Ice Tigers conceded for the first time this season, as Landric Mayeski put the Eagles on the board. Henry Cravens gave Ensworth the lead back, before Ben Sonkin’s first goal of the game had them leading 3-1 at the break. Ensworth scored three more goals in the second, as Sonkin’s second came after goals from Will Brothers and JT Borland. Meanwhile, Indy also scored in the second, as Jackson McCoy potted his first GNASH goal. In the third, Grant Ranck scored on a tip-in from a Trex Hooper shot for Ensworth’s final goal, while Torrin Kemble scored twice to finish off what’s been Indy’s best game of the young season so far, despite the 0-3 record.
