Last night’s MTSN broadcast
Recapping last night’s games
The game that was broadcast by MTSN
Ensworth-Nolensville-Lipscomb 6 (1-0-0), Centennial-FRA 0 (0-1-0)
Trex Hooper scored the game’s first goal just 31 seconds in, when he redirected a Jackson Malleus-Mayer shot. David Busby, who got the start in goal for the Cougars, did a fine job of keeping it a 1-0 game until just under two-and-a-half minutes left in the second, when Charlie Bohnert closed in on the right-hand side of the Centennial net, and shot the puck into the top corner on the left-hand side. Right as the final minute of the second began, Henry Cravens made it 3-0, when he scored from the slot. Just over 90 seconds into the third, Lucas Tarquine got on the scoresheet, when he got a tip on a Beckett Adams shot from the blue line. Past the halfway point of the third, Cravens scored a second goal on the power play, when his shot was deflected in by a Centennial stick. Malleus-Mayer scored the final goal with 9.9 seconds left, when his shot from the left circle pinballed between Busby’s legs and in. A fine start to the season from the reigning champions.
